This article guides you through the steps to connect your Clover POS to Zuppler. Follow the steps mentioned below to get started with the integration:



Step 1: Login to your Clover mechant account

  • Login to your Clover merchant account on clover.com. 
  • Select the the merchant you want to integrate with Zuppler.

Step 2: Install the Zuppler Chef app

  • Go to the Clover app marketplace by clicking on the 'More' option.
  • Search for Zuppler Chef in the search box and select the 'Zuppler Chef'
  • Click on the connect button and choose the free subscription option.
  • Once the app is connected/installed you'll be redirected to chef.zuppler.com login page.

Step 3: Setup Clover as the POS in Zuppler Chef

  • Search for the account in Zuppler Chef you want to integrate with Clover.
  • Select 'Clover' from the options available in Configure POS section.
  • Select the menu sync mode which better suits your need. More info about the available menu sync modes here: Menu Sync Modes
  • Enable the background printing checkbox
  • At last, click on the 'Connect to Clover POS' button, it will redirect to Clover merchant selection page.
  • Select the correct merchant from the list, once selected youll be redirected back to the Zuppler Chef POS setup page. The merchant ID showing up means the connection was successful.
  • Make sure to click on the save button at last.


Step 4: Import the menu and mappings

  • Navigate to Manage Menus > POS Dashboard in Zuppler Chef and run a sync. Reload the page to see the sync job status. Once completed the menu and POS mappings would be imported.


Step 5: Select the POS device for online orders

  • Go to the POS page in Zuppler Chef and select the Clover Station/Device which is connected to the printer which is meant to print online orders. 
    If no device is selected, orders will be sent to all available devices, potentially causing duplicate order prints.
  • Click on save button after selecting a device from the list.


Step 5: Complete POS mappings

  • Go to the 'Configure POS Mappings' page in Zuppler Chef and map all the options listed there
